Hussein Ali Duale (Somali: Xuseen Cali Ducaale), commonly known as Awil (Somali: Cawil), is the finance minister of Somaliland,[1] and former ambassador of Somalia to Kenya and Uganda.
He published his memoirs in 2005. In these memoirs he discusses the coups against Siad Barre in Somalia in 1961 and 1991.
